About the Artist

    Michelle Pastor is currently attending the University of California, Santa Cruz and majoring in Environmental Studies. As an attempt to continue to her passion in art, she is pursuing scientific and biological illustration as a side venture that she continues to refine. 

    Her main intention is to highlight the incredible scientific and aesthetic beauty that we can find in the smallest bird and in the grandest landscapes. We are lucky to live in one of the most intricate yet incredibly simple works of creation there ever was. She hopes to inspire stewardship and a newfound connection to the planet in which we live.
